Pearl mining, built for Radeon RDNA4. Nothing else.
redPeaRL is a Pearl (PRL) miner engineered from the silicon up for the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT. One architecture, one job, every clock cycle accounted for.
Windows today, Linux in development · precompiled GPU kernels, no runtime compiler · 1 % developer fee, disclosed up front · never touches your GPU settings
Why a miner for two cards beats a miner for every card
General-purpose miners carry every GPU generation they have ever supported. redPeaRL carries one: RDNA4. That focus is where the hashrate comes from.
Hand-built for gfx1200 / gfx1201
A fused matrix kernel designed around RDNA4's wave64 WMMA units, register file and cache hierarchy. Not ported, not auto-tuned at start-up: built, measured, and shipped as precompiled code objects.
Designed for power-capped cards
Rented and undervolted cards live under power limits. redPeaRL is designed to run optimally even on power-capped cards: its dispatch size and pipeline were chosen under a power limit, not only at stock, so a capped card keeps working at its best.
Your tuning stays yours
redPeaRL never writes to your GPU. Power limit, undervolt, fan curve and memory timing belong to Adrenalin and to you. The miner reads the sensors and reports them, and that is all.
Honest, pool-side numbers
The status line shows TH/s, efficiency in GH/J, board power, clock, voltage and temperatures every 30 seconds. The hashrate is pool-equivalent: it matches pool-side accounting over time.
Supported pools
redPeaRL speaks Pearl stratum and comes with the major pools preset. Pick one, paste your wallet, mine.
Kryptex
Fully supported: TLS, every regional endpoint, worker names, and Kryptex's compressed-proof protocol, so your shares travel light and arrive fast.
HeroMiners
Preset, TLS and plain ports, wallet.worker login.
LuckyPool
Preset, including its variable-difficulty ports.
PearlFortune
Preset. Any other Pearl stratum pool can be given by address; tell us which one you use and we will test it.
The fee
One number, no fine print.
1 % developer fee
About 14 minutes a day of your hashrate mines to the developer. It is written into the log as it happens, it never changes without a release note, and there is no licence fee, no subscription and no hidden switching behind it. The other 99 % is yours. The fee mines on Kryptex over its own connection; if Kryptex cannot be reached it mines on your pool as a separate worker under the developer's wallet and returns to Kryptex later. Your own mining never waits for it. The usage statistics the miner sends are pseudonymous (a random install id, no personal data), listed in its help file, kept 180 days, and switched off with one line.
Designed for
Home rigs running the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT on Windows (other RX 9000-series cards: untested). A Linux build for rented GPUs and headless rigs is in development and will follow. If you have one of these cards and mine Pearl, redPeaRL is built for you, and for nothing else: no NVIDIA, no older Radeon generations.
What's in the box
Everything a serious Pearl miner needs, and nothing that gets in the way.
- Precompiled kernels for RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT; starts mining in seconds, no driver compiler, no tuning sweep.
- Self-test on every start: the GPU result is checked against a reference before the first share is sent.
- Kryptex-native: compressed proofs, regional endpoints, TLS. HeroMiners, LuckyPool and PearlFortune presets built in.
- Offline benchmark mode for testing a card without a wallet or a pool.
- Windows executable with the kernels alongside it: unzip, add your wallet, run. Linux build in development.
- Sensible defaults: wide mining shape and dispatch size chosen for RDNA4, overridable when you know better.
- Plain-text log with units that mean something: TH/s, GH/J, watts, millivolts, degrees.
- A 1 % developer fee, disclosed here and in the log. No hidden switching.
- Usage stats, on by default so we learn which cards and settings work: pseudonymous (a random install id), one line turns them off, the help file lists every field. Never your wallet, worker, password, user name or paths.
Install guide (Windows)
Five steps, no installer. The same guide ships in the package as HELP.md.
- Check the download. Every package carries
BUILD.txtwith the SHA-256 of each file, and your delivery email repeats the SHA-256 of the exe. To compare, open PowerShell in the unzipped folder and runGet-FileHash .\redpearl-miner.exe -Algorithm SHA256. If the hash differs from the one in your email, do not run the file; write to support@redpearlminer.com. - Unzip the package anywhere, for example
C:\redPeaRL\. Keep thekernelsfolder next toredpearl-miner.exe. - Start it once. Double-click
Start-redpearl-miner.bat. On the first start the miner writesredpearl.tomlnext to the exe and stops, telling you to fill in your wallet. - Add your wallet. Open
redpearl.tomlin Notepad, remove the#in front of thewallet =line and paste your PRL address between the quotes. Give the machine aworkername if you like. Save. - Start it again. The miner shows you where the licence agreement is and asks you to type
I agree, runs a self-test on the GPU (about 10 seconds), connects to the pool and prints a status line every 30 seconds.
Join the closed beta
We are opening a limited number of seats to miners running the RX 9070 XT or RX 9060 XT before the open beta. You get the build, direct contact with the developer, and a say in what ships. We get your hashrate logs and your honest opinion.
- Who it is for: anyone running one or more RX 9070 XT / 9060 XT cards on Windows. Linux testers: tell us, and you are first in line when that build is ready.
- What we ask: run it for a few days, tell us your rate, power and any rough edges. A screenshot or a log file is gold.
- What you get: the beta build and updates by email, and first access to the open beta and release.
- Not for: NVIDIA cards, or AMD cards before RDNA4. redPeaRL does not run on them, by design.
Once beta testers' logs come in, their cards, rates and power will be summarised here.
Questions
Which cards does redPeaRL support?
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT (RDNA4, gfx1201 and gfx1200). Other RX 9000-series parts share the architecture and are expected to work but are untested in the beta. No NVIDIA support exists or is planned, and RDNA3 and earlier are not supported.
Does it change my GPU settings?
No. redPeaRL never writes power, clock, voltage, fan or memory settings. Set your card up in AMD Adrenalin exactly as you like it; the miner reads the sensors and reports them.
What does it cost?
A 1 % developer fee: about 14 minutes a day of your hashrate mines to the developer. It is disclosed in the log as it happens. There is no licence fee, subscription or hidden switching. The fee mines on Kryptex; if Kryptex cannot be reached it mines on your pool as a separate worker under the developer's wallet and goes back to Kryptex later. The exact terms are in section 2 of the licence agreement.
What does it send home?
Pseudonymous usage statistics every five minutes while mining: a random install id, miner version, OS, GPU model, your settings, hashrate, shares, power, clocks, temperatures, error counts, and one error record on a fatal error. Never your wallet, worker name, password, computer name, user name, paths or files; those are removed from any text before it is sent, and no IP is stored. Records are kept 180 days. stats = false in the config turns it off; the start-up line tells you which it is. Questions: admin@redpearlminer.com.
Which pools work?
Kryptex is fully supported, including its compressed-proof protocol and regional endpoints. HeroMiners, LuckyPool and PearlFortune are built in as presets. Any Pearl stratum pool should work; tell us which one you use.
Windows or Linux?
The beta is Windows: an executable with precompiled kernels, nothing to install. A Linux build, including a container image for rented GPUs, is in development and will reach beta testers first.
How will the beta be delivered?
By email: a personal download code for our download page, the SHA-256 of the exe, release notes and the install guide. A code allows three downloads over two weeks. Updates come the same way during the beta.
Where are the licence terms?
The End User Licence Agreement is on this site and ships in the package as EULA.md; the miner asks you to accept it on its first start. The privacy notice covers this website, the access-request form and the usage statistics. Changes between builds are in the changelog.
